For 25 years, thousands of Chicagoans have gathered at the Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon to work wonders for the city we love. On June 23, we’re keeping the good going at the 25th Annual Serve-a-thon.
In honor of this legacy of service, we want to thank you – our volunteers – for being by our side all these years. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the $250 Fundraising Challenge. Every Serve-a-thon participant who raises at least $250 will automatically be entered for a chance to win a fun prize package. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting Chicago Cares and our special Serve-a-thon fundraising goal of $25,000.
You may not know it, but in addition to being the city’s largest volunteer day, Serve-a-thon is also Chicago Cares’ biggest fundraiser. The money our volunteers raise allows Chicago Cares to provide hundreds of volunteer opportunities a month, impacting the city all year long.
